Gold Flake | Harley-Davidson Factory Pack Paint (2016)

Authentic PPG Factory Pack Hard Candy Gold Flake, mixed to the 2016 Harley-Davidson OEM standard. Part of Harley’s Hard Candy Custom line, it carries the program’s signature oversized metalflake in gold, a finish built to be seen across a parking lot.

For 2016 it ran as a standalone color on the Forty-Eight, the Seventy-Two, and the Road Glide Special. On the Iron 883 it appeared as the factory-custom Deluxe version with flame graphics over black fenders, part of the H-D1 customization program.

Not to be confused with Hard Candy Black Gold Flake, a separate 2016–2017 color with a darker base. The two read differently in every light and are not interchangeable.

A one-year Hard Candy finish is a scarce thing to reproduce, and matched bodywork in these colors commands a premium in the aftermarket. This is the same PPG standard used for original production, prepared to order.

Typical work: Sportster tank and fender work, tank and tins repaints, bagger builds matching factory bodywork, flame-scheme base restoration, and accessory matching.
