Authentic PPG Factory Pack Cosmic Blue, mixed to the 2016 Harley-Davidson OEM standard. A one-year-only Custom Color, Harley’s premium paint tier for 2016, it reads deep navy in shade and opens into a rich galactic blue in sunlight with a soft luster that moves across curved panels.

Cosmic Blue ran wider than most premium colors. The Softail Deluxe, Heritage Softail Classic, Ultra Limited, Street Glide Special, Road Glide Special, and Tri Glide Ultra all offered it in 2016. It was always a standalone color, never part of a factory two-tone, set against blacked-out or chrome hardware.

Because it appeared for a single model year across so many models, it is one of the most requested hard-to-source blues of the era. Harley also ran several different blues in surrounding years, including Daytona Blue, Fathom Blue, and Bonneville Blue, and they are not interchangeable. If your tank medallion year says 2016 and the paint is a deep blue with pearl depth, this is the one.
